How Bake Hub handles information you share with us—especially during signup and while running your shop.

Operator: Nurture Partners Inc  ·  Last updated: August 18, 2026

Overview

This policy describes the personal and organization information we collect when you explore Bake Hub marketing pages, complete our self-serve onboarding (signup) flow, and use a Bake Hub-hosted shop. It is written for home bakeries and dessert businesses in Canada and their teams. It also explains how we process information that dessert customers share with those bakeries through Bake Hub.

Information we collect during onboarding

When you start a Bake Hub subscription through our signup form, we ask for details needed to provision your account, invoice you correctly, and stay in touch. Depending on the plan you choose, this may include:

  • Plan and shop details — for example, subscription type (kitchen only, a shop on a Bake Hub subdomain, or a shop on your own domain), requested licensed capacity, and identifiers such as a short subdomain or custom domain name.
  • Organization profile — your public-facing bakery name, registered legal name and optional trade name, primary Canadian service address (street, city, province or territory, postal code), and optional provincial or municipal business licence number.
  • Primary system administrator — full name, cell phone, and email address for the first admin on your Bake Hub account (login, security alerts, and checkout receipts when that differs from the bakery contact).
  • Bakery contact information — primary contact name, main phone, email, and the inbox customers use to reply to messages from your business (may be the same person as the administrator or a different coordinator).
  • Legal entity — registered legal business name, optional doing business as (trade) name if it differs, and optional provincial or municipal program licence number.
  • Terms of Service — we record that you accepted our Terms of Service when you complete self-serve signup.
  • Billing-related identifiers — for Canadian tax compliance we may collect an optional GST/HST or provincial sales-tax number when you have one. Small suppliers who do not collect tax may leave this blank. These values are encrypted in our licensing database using server-side keys separate from your shop site. We use them on subscription receipts and for statutory tax reporting. Card or bank details for Bake Hub subscription payment are collected by our payment processor (Helcim or Stripe, depending on configuration), not stored by us as full payment credentials.
  • Technical data — standard web server and security logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) to operate and protect the service.

Information collected in your shop

Once your site is running, your team and the dessert customers who use it may store operational records in Bake Hub and Bake Hub. That can include customer names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses; order history; pickup or delivery details; discount codes; messages; uploaded photos of treats; and payment records for items you sell. Your business decides what to collect and how to use it for your clients. Nurture Partners Inc hosts and processes that information to provide the Service you subscribed to—not to market to your clients on our own behalf.

Sign-in uses a cell phone number and a one-time SMS code. We send those codes through our SMS provider solely to verify the person controlling that number.

Public discovery

Your public shop may show business details you choose to list—such as bakery name, menu, and location—so customers can order from the link you share. Private customer and order records are not included in public marketing search.

How we use this information

We use onboarding, account, and hosted shop data to create and maintain your Bake Hub environment, communicate about your subscription, meet legal and tax obligations, improve reliability and security, and provide support you request.

Marketing and third parties

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

We may use subprocessors that help us run Bake Hub—such as hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing, or fraud prevention—strictly to provide the service you signed up for. Those providers are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing. Your shop may also connect a payment processor you choose (for example Helcim, Nuvei, Stripe, PayPal, or VoPay) so you can collect from customers; that processor handles card or bank details according to its own terms.

Retention and security

We keep account and billing records only as long as needed to operate Bake Hub, meet legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Shop records remain until you delete them or your subscription ends, subject to backups and any retention settings you configure. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of bakery operations data.

Your choices

You may contact us through Support to ask questions about this policy or to request access or correction of your account information, subject to applicable law. Customers who use a shop should contact that bakery first about their own records; we can assist the subscriber when required by law.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way (for example, by email to the address on your account or a notice in the product).
